چکیده
The charge and baryon balance functions are studied in the co-alescence hadronization mechanism of quark-gluon plasma. Assuming that in the plasma phase the q ¯ q pairs form uncorrelated clusters whose decay is also uncorrelated, one can understand the observed small width of the charge balance function in the Gaussian approximation. The coalescence model predicts even smaller width of the baryon-antibaryon balance function: σ B ¯ B /σ +− = 2/3.

What is the ground state of ordinary hadronic matter if it is compressed to baryon densities several times larger than nuclear matter saturation density? This theoretical question, which has important applications to the physics of neutron stars, has led to the discovery of several novel and unusual phases of QCD. At zero baryon density chiral symmetry is broken by a condensate of quark-anti-qu...
متن کاملHypercentral Constituent Quark Model and Isospin for the Baryon Static Properties
So far the static properties of hadrons have been introduced in various models. The static properties of hadrons (charge radius, magnetic moment, etc.) are useful for understanding the quark structure of hadron. In this work we have introduced the hypercentral constituent quark and isospin dependent potentials. Here constituent quarks interact with each other via a potential in which we have ta...

We discuss the non-zero baryon number formulation of QCD in the quenched limit at finite temperature. This describes the thermodynamics of gluons in the background of static quark sources. Although a sign problem remains in this theory, our simulation results show that it can be handled quite well numerically. The transition region gets shifted to smaller temperatures and the transition region ...

The exotic baryon Θ + (1540 MeV) is visualised as an expected (iso) rota-tional excitation in the Chiral Soliton Model. It is also argued as a Pentaquark baryon state in a constituent quark model with strong diquark correlations. I contrast the two points of view; observe the similarities and differences between the two pictures.
